The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for Charles McAlister, Jr., 71, who was reported missing on Saturday, August 5.

CPSO was told by the complainant that they had not seen McAlister – who lives in Lake Charles – for several days. CPSO was informed that McAlister suffers from medical issues and left home without his medication or cell phone.

CPSO does not have a description of what McAlister was last seen wearing.

Officers learned during initial investigations that McAlister’s truck was seen in Cameron Parish on Thursday, August 3.

After reaching out to Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office the next day, CPSO learned that they had located the truck “during the early morning hours on August 4 at Rutherford Beach.”
