Logan Tyler Chiasson, born in Lafayette, Louisiana on May 18, 1997, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in a local hospital, at the age of 26.

Logan was a graduate of Iowa High School, where he excelled in football and baseball. He was employed by Colorado Shed Company as a carpenter. Prior to moving back to Colorado in May, Logan worked for R. J. Corman Railroad Company.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, playing golf, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. 

Logan is survived by his mother, Amanda Fender; like a father, John Brasseaux; father, Lee Chiasson; son, Layne Tyler Chiasson; fiancé, Reese Cylie Roecker; siblings, Madison Michelle Crochet, and Trenton Lee Underwood and partner, Brianna Harding; grandparents, Wade & Sue Crochet, Susan McCabe, and William Fender; great-grandfather, Don Hampton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, extended family and friends. 

A Celebration of Logan’s life will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11 a.m. Pastor Tony Bourque, celebrant. A gathering of friends and family begins at 10 a.m. 

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
