LC man deemed habitual offender gets 64 years for crimes against juveniles

A 47-year-old Lake Charles man has been found to be a third or subsequent habitual offender by Judge Robert Wyatt.

Travis Shane Ryan was sentenced Thursday to 60 years in prison at hard labor on each of  three counts of Pornography Involving a Juvenile Under 13; 10 years in prison at hard labor on one count Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor; 4 years in prison at hard labor on one count Possession of CDS II; and 20 years in prison on each of two  counts of Pornography Involving a Juvenile.

The charges of Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor, Pornography Involving a Juvenile Under 13, and Pornography Involving a Juvenile are all to be served without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence and are to run concurrently. The charge of Possession of CDS II is to run consecutively. He was sentenced to a total of 64 years.
