The first step of Phase 1 in the Iowa Park Improvement Project is to refurbish a field in the Lawrence Toups Jr. Memorial Park into “a state of the art ball field designed for maximum safety and play ability for inclusion of special needs children,” said Mayor Paul Hesse.

Join the staff from the Iowa Library 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, for a very special story time in the park!

The Iowa Library Staff will wrap up the 2023 Summer Reading Program with a celebratory story time that coincides with the “All Together Now” reading program theme.

Join us for popsicles, stories, and other fun activities!

The program is free and open to all ages.  A library card is not needed to join in the fun!
