Theresa L. LeBouef, 92, of Lake Charles passed away at 12:49 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in her daughter’s residence where she resided for many years.
Mrs. LeBouef was born on August 3, 1930 in Manchester, La, lived in Lacassine most of her life, and moved to Lake Charles in the early 2000’s. She was a homemaker and raised seven children. Mrs. LeBouef was of the Catholic faith.
She took pleasure in cooking and gardening, and she adored her large family, including her grand dogs. In her spare time she enjoyed being at the casinos.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia “Pat” George, John LeBouef (Melissa), Susan “Sue” Vera (Peter), Lisa Oliver (Shawn Matheson), Clifford “Cliff” LeBouef (Gilda), and Keith LeBouef (Pam); sister, Myrna Romine; grandchildren, Jeremy George (Cierra), Chris George, Karin LeBouef Miller, Kristi LeBouef Breaux, Nicole Delgado (Dave), Erik Oliver (Laura), Victoria Oliver, Megan Samano (Raul), and Shelly Adams; and great grandchildren, Nicholas George, Maddie George, Braelynn Miller (Brynlea), Ethan Miller, Peyton Miller, Wyatt Breaux, Blaise Vera, Reed Allain, Madison Oliver, Colt Oliver, and William Segura. She also leaves behind her beloved grand dog, Bella Vera.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward John “E.J.” LeBouef, Sr.; son, Kenneth LeBouef, grandson, D.J. LeBouef; parents, Ella and Telesphore LeLeaux; and eight siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the start of the service.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy George, Chris George, Erik Oliver, Nicholas George, Braelynn Miller, Ethan Miller, and Peyton Miller.
