Jacqueline Guillot Tarbell

Jacqueline Guillot Tarbell, born on October 1, 1942 in Port Arthur, Texas, daughter of the late Lawless J. and Beatrice Estelle (Buller) Guillot, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, surrounded by her family, at the age of eighty.
A 1960 graduate of Las Cruces New Mexico High School, Jacqueline began a career with Southwestern Bell, later known as Bell South. She began as an operator, later becoming a supervisor. She was past president of the SW Lake Charles Kiwanis Club. Jacqueline enjoyed playing Mah Jongg, Pokeno, cooking, shopping, sewing, and painting. She enjoyed being with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Taelor Karl Jackson.
Jacqueline is survived by her loving and faithful husband, Charles Tarbell of Lake Charles; children, Donna (Sammy) Fontenot, Deborah (David) McNicol, and Tammy (Dwayne) Franklin, all of Iowa; siblings, her twin sister, Carolyn (Dan) Gonzales of El Paso, Texas, Lawless “Buddy” J. (Becky) Guillot, Jr., of Lake Charles, Chris Guillot of Many, Marcel (Belinda) A. Guillot of Pine Island; grandchildren, Hannah, Brittani, Luke, Gus, Megan, Zachary, Heidi; great-grandchildren, Kane, Kora, Temperence, Kynadi, and Prince. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in St. Raphael Catholic Church on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10 a.m. Rev. Rojo Antony, Celebrant. A burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in the church at 8 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Pallbearers assisting in her service are Luke Fontenot, Gus Fontenot, Zachary Paxson, Zachary Helms, Brian Guillot, and Kane Lalanne.
