There will also be some “pawesome” activities introducing children to feelings, thoughts, and healthy actions to protect and support their mental health as they learn and grow.

This special partnership program is brought to you by Dr. Dogs Therapy Group (Fun with Fideaux), the McNeese Kay Doré Counseling Clinic, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the Connecticut Suicide Advisory Board, and the Calcasieu Parish Public Library.

Parents and caregivers must register their children but do not need to register themselves. To sign up, call one of the branches above.

Adults must stay with their children during the program.
