6/5: Calcasieu Parish Sheriff announces arrest list

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Keely Kaite Mays, 24, 2861 Carswell St., Sulphur — direct contempt of court; two counts prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; obstruction of justice; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); two counts drug possession. Bond: $8,500.

Chloe Nicole Harris, 26, 319 Vanessa Ave. — five counts direct contempt of court; attempted bank fraud; criminal mischief-any false report or complaint to a sheriff or his deputies or to any officer of the law; display of plates; drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $19,600.

Jeantrell Scott Pierson, 31, 417 Maple St., Sulphur — resisting a police officer with force or violence; aggravated assault with a firearm; simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or more); possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; hit-and-run driving. Bond: $242,750.

John Carroll Comeaux Jr., 48, 423 Peake St. — two counts direct contempt of court; drug possession; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; evidence of motor vehicle liability security contained in vehicle; operating vehicle while license is suspended; switched license plates; illegal possession of stolen things from $5,000 but less than $25,000.

Learnest Martin Jr., 51, 1681 West Burton Apt. A, Sulphur — theft from $5,000 but less than $25,000. Bond: $5,000.

Dana Lee Gauthier, 25, 3425 Patrick St. Apt. 6 — obstruction of justice; possession of synthetic marijuana, second offense; illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; resisting a police officer with force or violence.

Avery Jamal Wiseman, 22, 1212 Clover Drive — illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments; simple cruelty to animals.

Matthew Jason Howell, 37, 968 Koonce Road, Sulphur — illegal possession of stolen things less than $1,000; attempted bank fraud; forgery; two counts direct contempt of court. Bond: $12,000.

Charles Joseph Doyle Sr., 47, 2317 Kathy Drive, Sulphur — theft of a catalytic converter or engine control module from $1,000 but less than $5,000; theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000; theft less than $1,000. Bond: $55,000.

Brandon Wesley Treadway, 32, 1204 Sunset Drive — domestic abuse battery; two counts direct contempt of court.
