CPSO, LSP honor fallen heroes during memorial service and roll call

Officers from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana State Police Troop D gathered Wednesday, to honor fallen officers.
This gathering fell during National Police Week – May 14 through 20, 2023 – and two days after National Peace Officers Memorial Day, which was designated by President John F. Kennedy in 1962.
“We are welcomed together today with a shared resolve to honor law enforcement officers that have not survived in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others,” said Brad Saltzman, LSP Captain. “Their courage, selfless service and sacrifice will be forever remembered.”
