Two Calcasieu Parish teenagers escaped from the Acadiana Center for Youth at St. Martinville early Wednesday afternoon.

The Office of Juvenile Justice said the escapees include a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old. Both are male.

Following the incident, the OJJ said it “immediately ceased all movement at the facility and made official notifications to law enforcement.”

As of 3 p.m.,  the escapees remain at large.

The campus is secure at this time, the OJJ said, and the juveniles have been entered into the National Crime Information Center database.
