Brett Everett Morris, 41, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. 

Brett was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur and a graduate of Sulphur High School where he played on the football and baseball teams. He worked for many years with Enco Insulation at Conoco and most recently with Kim’s Radiator and Manufacturing. Brett enjoyed working and spending time with his family and his dog, Rhone.  

Survivors include his children, Emmalee Morris of Sulphur, and Ezekiel Morris of Houston, Texas; his mother, Diane Todd of Westlake; his father, Larry Morris of Sulphur; his siblings, Terra Morris Olivier and husband Mike of Westlake, Heather Morris of Westlake, Kane Todd of Westlake, and Katlynn Todd of Rosepine; his nieces, Darian, Sawyer and Blakeleigh; and his nephews, Damien, Bradey, Josef, Conner and Copeland. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymon and Thelma LeBert and Vestil and Lucille Morris.

His funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Deacon Fred Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday in the funeral home.
