Two teenagers have been arrested after shooting into a crowd of people gathered over the weekend at the Lake Charles Civic Center.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said Harry L. Pendleton, III, 18, of Lake Charles discharged a firearm into a crowd of people, hitting a vehicle. He then fled the scene in a vehicle driven by Chelsey B. Ned, 19, of DeQuincy.

Vincent said Ned drove the vehicle through barricades and a crowd of people, while trying to flee the police. She said Pendleton ultimately jumped out of the vehicle and dropped his firearm while trying to flee on foot.
