An Iowa, La., man, who threw his girlfriend to the ground and kicked here before spraying her with a water hose and damaging her vehicle during a disturbance has been charged with battery of a dating partner.

David Kirk Bebee, 52, was arrested Saturday after Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Dewolf Road in Iowa in reference to a disturbance in progress.

Bebee was charged with three counts of battery of a dating partner and one count of simple criminal damage to property.

Chief Deputy Chris Ivey said when deputies arrived the victim had locked herself inside a vehicle.

She told deputies Bebee had grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground, kicked her and sprayed her with water from a water hose.

She was able to get into her vehicle and lock the doors before deputies arrived.

Bebee is accused of breaking the windshield and the side mirror off the vehicle.
