Jane was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, April 24, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born and raised in Eunice, La. Her family moved to Lake Charles, where she became a Gatorette at LaGrange High School.
She and her husband Billy resided in Lake Charles, where they shared a beautiful marriage of 67 years. She was a stay at home wife and mother to 4 children, all residing in Lake Charles.
Jane was the Matriarch of her Klumpp Family that she cherished. She showed us all how to live an honest, happy and gracious life. Her Christian Faith was very important to her and always tried to instill in us, the Christian way of living. She had a gift for great advice and would light up a room with her smile.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Billy Lee Trahan; her brother, Human James Klumpp; and sister, Verly Julia Broussard, all of Lake Charles; and a host of many close family members.
Those left to cherish Jane’s memory are her sons, Ricky Randall Trahan and his wife Page, Guy Mitchell Trahan and wife Tina; daughters, Lisa Ann Trahan Breaux and husband Mike, and Jody Leigh Trahan Jones, all of Lake Charles; brother, Gary Glenn Klumpp and wife Julie of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Wayne Trahan, Christopher Michael Breaux, Scott Anthony Breaux, Rusty Allen Trahan, Dana Michelle Breaux, Hunter Christian Jones, Aspen Nicole Jones, Allyson Maye Trahan; and 14 great-grandchildren.
