Freddie leaves to cherish his wife of 20 years, Felicia Steele of Lake Charles, La.; mother, Ms. Earnestine Steele; father, Leroy Gayden (Peggy) of Beaumont, Miss.; five children, Alexis Steele, Destiny Steele and Freddie Steele Jr. of Hattiesburg, Miss., Mya Nicole Hanks and Vaylon Cruz Hester of Lake Charles, La.; one grandson, Bryce Alexander Fairley of Hattiesburg, Miss.; four sisters, Jennifer (Anthony) Wilson of Brandon, Miss., Fina Hence of Hattiesburg, Miss., Lekida (James) Ramsey of New Augusta, Miss., and Melva Holliman of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Roy (Trina) Gayden of Beaumont, Miss., and Melvin Holliman III of Pascagoula, Miss.; father in law, Larry Hester; sister in law, Latonia Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
