The Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested a 30-year-old Oakdale man on drug charges after executing a search warrant at the Oakwood Inn, located on U.S. 165 in Oakdale.

Michael L. Holmes was found in possession of 4.6 grams of methamphetamine, 5.1 grams of crack cocaine, 63 oxycodone pills, 1,169 grams of marijuana and a firearm when task force agents raided the motel room.

He was booked into he Allen Parish Detention Center on charges of manufacture, distribution or possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance Schedule I, three counts of manufacture, distribution or possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance Schedule I, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor and possession of a firearm with controlled dangerous substance.

Holmes was reportedly living in the motel.

His bond is set at $140,500.
