Lake Charles Police said a 20-year-old man found dead inside a Honda Accord over the weekend is a homicide victim.

Deputy Chief Franklin Fondel said officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of 5th Avenue Saturday night in reference to a possibly deceased person in a vehicle.

Upon their arrival, Fondel said officers found an unresponsive man inside a white Honda Accord.

Acadian Ambulance arrived on scene and the man was pronounced deceased, he said.

The man has been identified as Devyn Keon Thomas of Lake Charles.

His death is being treated as a homicide, Fondel said.
