Bobbie Lee Lofaso

Bobbie Thompson Lofaso, 95, of Lake Charles, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 in a local assisted living facility.
Mrs. Lofaso was born on April 30, 1928, in Kinder, where she was raised until moving to Lake Charles and was a graduate of LaGrange High School. She was a member of St. Luke Simpson Methodist Church.
She was a talented seamstress with a loving, gentle spirit. Mrs. Lofaso is described as a wonderful woman who adored her family and was affectionately called “Granny.” Time spent with her children and grandchildren were cherished moments in her life.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Frank Lofaso (Leda) of Lake Charles, Michael Lofaso of Lake Charles, and John Lofaso of Forest, Va.; a sister, Jean Callahan of Washington state; grandchildren, Laura Bowers, Sarah Lofaso, O’Shana Putman, and Jacob Samuel Lofaso; great grandchildren, Jens, Blaire, Reese, Oliver, and Olivia; and great great grandchildren, Cooper and Evangeline.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sam Lofaso; a brother, Marvin Carl Thompson, Jr.; and sisters, Ione Christ and Fontel Laughlin.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul White will officiate. Visitation will begin in the funeral home at 1 p.m. and continue until leaving for the cemetery at 2:45 p.m.
