Shirley LaRocca Wing, 81, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023.
She was born on July 16, 1941 in Lake Charles, La., to Leon and Mary LaRocca.
She was a graduate of the Lake Charles High class of 1961 and began a career with Coca Cola where she worked in accounts payable for over 50 years. In younger days she was very athletic and enjoyed playing basketball and softball, as well as, bowling and fishing. In later years she enjoyed visiting casinos and traveled to Las Vegas and Biloxi.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Leonard LaRocca (Barbara); godchildren, Mary Bergeron and Ricky LaRocca; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Wing; her parents; and three brothers, Charles LaRocca, Bennie LaRocca, and Billy LaRocca.
Her visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Consolata Cemetery following the rosary.
