Philip Laurence Handy, Sr., 79, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, in San Jose, Calif. He was born Nov. 30, 1942, to Dewey and Georgiana Handy in Jennings, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 1014 S. Main St., Jennings, La., and funeral service at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 920 S. Broadway St., Jennings, La.
