After a lengthy illness with kidney disease, Paul Guillory, 79, died recently in Pearland, Texas, where he has resided his entire adult life. He was born to Helen and Felton Guillory of Westlake and graduated from Westlake High School in 1961. He then earned a degree in accounting from McNeese State University.
Paul was a thoughtful, kind brother and a devoted son. He was a quiet man with a dry sense of humor. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, coin collecting, and being with family, especially during holidays.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Felton Guillory; and brother, Floyd Guillory. Left to mourn and cherish his memory are sister, Janice Guillory Guillot (Michael), Ruth Guillory (widow of Floyd Guillory) one niece, three nephews (and their spouses) and dear friends.
Paul will join his beloved mother, Helen Guillory, for a dual funeral service at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake. The family will welcome the public for visitation at Hixson Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 10 to 1 p.m. Funeral service begins at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles.
