Patrisha “Trish” Doucett

Patrisha “Trish” Doucett, 77, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Freeport, Texas, and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 47 years, coming from Corsicana, Texas. Trish was a member of Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church and was also a member of ACTS and former member of the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed all crafts, especially quilting, counted cross stitching, crocheting, and knitting, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors include her husband, of 47 years, Raphael Lynn Doucett of Sulphur; her children, Ronny Doucett and wife, April of Lake Charles, Rodney Doucett and wife, Susan of Auburndale, Florida, Paulette Campbell and husband, Tim of Sulphur, and Wendy Jordan and husband, David of Tucson, Ariz.; and her fur baby “Huck.” She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Alverne Allred; and her beloved dog, “Dude.”
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, in Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church. The Rev. John Welsh, M.S. will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
