Walter Dennis-Joseph Rutkowski, 78, of DeQuincy, La., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, at his residence. He was born to his late parents, Walter and Mildred Rutkowski on May 31, 1944, in West Allis, Wis. He loved electronics, especially working on the computer. In his early years, he was a race car driver and as a hobby, he loved working on cars.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 39 years, Sylvia Rutkowski; two daughters, Debra Gindorf of Nashville, Tenn., and Dawn Kleinmark (Bill) of Kenosha, Wis.; two grandchildren, Dona and Lisa; three great-grandchildren, Caydence, Nathan, and Bryce; along with one great-great grandson, Jaxson.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Taylor Rutkowski; one grandson, Jason; and one granddaughter, Christina.
A Celebration of Walter’s life will be held at a later date.
