Josh Waldeier, 43, was born on March 16, 1979, in Lake Charles, La., and passed away peacefully at his home in Oregon on Jan. 11, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends.
Josh was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Josh is survived by his parents, Debbie Price and Lance (Valarie) Waldmeier; as well, his siblings, Anne Yates, Brad (Nicole) Harrington, Jake (Heather) Waldmeier, Melissa (Andy) Higgins, Megan (Calvin) Tyler and Jordan Waldmeier. He leaves behind his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. But most tragically, leaving behind his loving partner and wife of 20 years, Lindy P. Waldmeier, and their three young sons, Everett, Ethan, and Emerson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel of Peace in Lake Charles, La., beginning at 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held following visitation starting at 1 p.m. with Chaplain Justin Brown officiating.
The family would like to extend an invitation for a reception following the funeral at the home of Lance and Valarie Waldmeier after the services.
