Democrat Karen Hardy McReynolds has been elected to the the District 2 seat of the Calcasieu Parish School Board. She received 747 votes, or 59.81 percent.

Her opponent, Raymond Fondel, also a Democrat, received 502 votes, or 40.19 percent.

District 14 seat incumbent Desmond Wallace, a Democrat, was re-elected with 630 votes, or 64.48 percent. He defeated opponent Jackie Hebert, a Republican, who received 347 votes, or 35.52 percent.

In District 15, Shawn Baumgarten defeated opponent Helen “Liz” Long with 983 votes, or 63.71 percent. Long received 560 votes, or 36.29 percent. Both are Republicans.
