Billy Loraine Foy, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022. She was born on Jan. 12, 1944, in Wisner, La., to Elmo and Lela Foy.
Billy was a resident of Lake Charles, and Westlake for most of her life where she was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. She retired from Bell South Telecommunications Company in 1995.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Shirley Cormier of Lake Charles; and six nieces and nephews that she loved as if they were her own children, Robert Foy, Michael Foy, Greg Carpenter, Jamie Russ, all of Westlake, Rhonda Foy of Lake Charles, and Cindi Sallee of Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gloria Carpenter; brother, Ronnie Foy; and infant nephew, Robert Wayne Thomas.
The family will welcome relatives and friends for a visitation on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake, beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of service. A Liturgy of the Word will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral officiated by Deacon Fred Reed of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Burial will be Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
