Jared Ann “Jan” McElroy, 80, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, in her home in Brown Deer, Wis.
She retired from Walmart after 7 years, before that she was a stay at home mom raising her 3 children.
She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa McElroy (Tim Krucker) of Brown Deer, Wis.; four grandchildren, Michael Sloan of Watson, La., Evan Sloan of Moss Bluff, Megan McElroy (Max Blair) of Lake Charles, Courtney Sloan (Derrek Johnson) of Iowa; ten great-grandchildren, Linda Gillman (Brendon Guy) of Brown Deer, Wis., Baileigh Doucet of Lake Charles, Kenadi Sloan of Moss Bluff, Kooper Verret of Sulphur, Hunter Johnson of Iowa, Koby Sloan of Sulphur, Clayton Sloan and Dakota Sloan of Brown Deer, Wis., Dax Blair of Lake Charles, Kinsley Sloan of Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph “Red” and Virgie Leger; husband, Ernest McElroy; brother, Paul Leger; sons, Bryan and Tad McElroy.
Her Memorial Service will be from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. with service from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday Nov. 26, in Gateway Church of God in Moss Bluff, La.
