Percy Lee Hodges was born Feb. 11, 1925, and passed away Nov. 12, 2022, at the age of 97. He served in the U.S. Navy. Percy is a World War II Veteran and earned a Purple Heart. He was also a rural letter carrier for 30 years in Ragley, La.
He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Wilma Jackson Hodges; daughters, Tana Joy Hodges Pearson, Paulette Hodges Ardoin, and Terri Lee Hodges Johnson; grandchildren, Ben Pearson and wife Angela, Jake Pearson and wife Samantha, and Cy Ardoin; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, B.H. Hodges and Ethel Wilcox Hodges; granddaughter, Hevyn Lee Johnson Allen; and siblings, J.L. Hodges and Mae Dell Hodges.
Family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at the First Pentecostal Church, Ragley, La. Interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Ragley, La.
