Sulphur
Fall Family Event — Joint event Oct 30 hosted by Henning Memorial United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church of Sulphur; trunk or treat, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 404 S. Huntington St., and Light Up the Night, 5-8 p.m. at 401 S. Huntington St.; hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, s’mores, glow sticks, hot chocolate, door prizes, booths, games planned.
Westlake
Fall Fest — 4-7 p.m. Oct. 30 at Pinederosa Park, 3014 Westwood Road; Westlake churches and community sponsors coming together for a fun night that will include trunk or treat, candy, games, food trucks, maze and more.
Lake Charles
Boo-Tastic Bash, 5-7 p.m. Oct. 31, Prien Lake Mall, 496 W. Prien Lake Road; children can come in costume to scour the mall and its retailers for candy; the Parks & Recreation Department will be providing up to 22 Harvest Fest-style.
Fall Harvest Festival — 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 31, Ward 3 Recreation, 2009 Simmons St.; music, food, drinks, photo booth, prizes planned.
Sensory Friendly Trunk or Treat — 2-5 p.m. Oct. 30, We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym, 3714 Common St., Suite E.
Trunk or Treat — 5-8 p.m. Oct. 31, Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3626 Common St.; games, food planned.
DeQuincy
Fall Festival — 5-7 p.m. Oct. 31, DeQuincy Walking Path, 405 Cole St.; family-friendly event with food, fun and fellowship; regular trick-or-treating will be 6-9 p.m. in the city limits.
