Mary Nell LeBleu

Mary Nell LeBleu, 79, of Sulphur passed away peacefully, Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022. Born in Ponca City, Okla., Mary’s family moved to Southwest Louisiana when she was a young girl where she attended school in Westlake, La. She was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who took great pride in taking care of her family. She enjoyed watching TV, ironing, and taking care of her plants. Her favorite hobby was going shopping; she enjoyed window shopping more than purchasing items. She will be remembered for her loving and giving nature, and her deep faith.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Daniel H. LeBleu Sr.; daughter, Diana Lynn Bourque (David) of Bayminette, Ala.; two sons, Daniel “Dan” LeBleu Jr. and his wife Mary, and Craig LeBleu, all of Sulphur; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Evelyn Biggs; sister, Doris Cole, Bobby Runyan, and Patricia David.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles. Visitation will be held at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, from 4 – 8 p.m. with a recitation of the Cursillo Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
