A Lake Charles man, who died following a police officer involved shooting last week, has been identified.
Louisiana State Police say the man has been identified as 31-year-old Christopher L. Ardoin of Lake Charles.
Lake Charles Police were dispatched to 1817 7th St. Thursday morning in reference to a suspicious circumstances call.
A 911 caller reported seeing an unclothed male subject walking in a nearby yard and also reported previously seeing the subject with a firearm.
Officers arrived and made contact with the subject. An LCPD officer discharged their firearm and the subject retreated back into the home and closed the door, according to Lake Charles Police.
He was later found deceased in the home. Additionally, two other bodies were found in the home.
They have been identified as 60-year-old Sandra Reder Ardoin and 62-year-old Lee Edward Ardoin. They had been shot.
