George McCarthy, 87, passed away on Sept. 22, 2022, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s and cancer. The viewing will be Saturday, Oc. 1, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at James Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Henry Catholic Church in Lake Charles at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
