Tammie Renee Doucet, age 62, of Westlake, La., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022. Tammie was born to Wilridge and Shirley Doucet on Oct. 27, 1959.
She graduated from Westlake High School and lived most of her life in Westlake/Moss Bluff area. She was an avid seamstress and knitter. Her most recent love was spending time with her adorable grandchildren Audrey, Ryland and Celeste.
Left to cherish her memory are her longtime companion, Dan Conrad; two daughters, Ginger Hale (Ryan), Amanda Hale (Lexi); sisters, Diana Doucet, Paula Hooper and Marla Thibodeaux (Jamie); stepmother, Helen Doucet; Aunt Nelda McManus, Uncle Wayne Dawson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will welcome friends for a visitation Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume the following day Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at 9 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church of Westlake. Interment will follow at Goos Cemetery II of Moss Blulff, La.
