In this edition of the Three Point Stance, staff writers Rodrick Anderson and Warren Arceneaux review Week 2 of the high school football season.
Which team had the most impressive win?
WA: Leesville remained undefeated with a win at Jennings. Through two games, the Wampus Cats defense has allowed 13 points.
RA: Class 2A Welsh scored a big win at Class 3A Westlake. The Greyhounds held the Rams to 12 points and 160 yards after Westlake racked up 46 points and 351 yards in Week 1.
Name a small schools player of the week.
WA: Basile’s Ashton Deaville ran for 151 yards and two touchdowns in a 36-20 win over Ville Platte. Deaville scored on a 6-yard run.
RA: East Beauregard’s Gage Hildreth had a career night with 280 yards and five touchdowns on 28 carries to lead the Trojans to a 66-42 win over Pickering.

WA: Colton Wood of St. Louis Catholic made two interceptions and two tackles to lead the Saints to a 14-11 win over Iota.
RA: Iowa sophomore Cohen Charles had a 20-yard pick-six, three tackles, a sack and three quarterback hurries as the Yellow Jackets shut out Rayne 43-0.
