Westlake blanks Sam Houston 7-0

MOSS BLUFF — Brandon Jupiter burst up the middle for an 88-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage to lead Westlake to a 7-0 win over Sam Houston in the final game of the SPOT Therapy/Navarre Auto Group Jamboree.
Defenses dominated thereafter with neither team putting a point on the board. The Broncos moved the ball through the air, with quarterback Gavin Stout completing 9 of 17 passes for 104 yards.
Sam Houston drove 46 yards to the Westlake 30 on the opening drive of the second half but fumbled the ball away.
Jupiter finished the game with 147 yards on 14 carries.
