Peggy Horner Farquhar was born July 21, 1948, in Fordoche. She was of the Christian faith and went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2022, surrounded by family. Peggy cherished time with her family and enjoyed making memories camping with her sons and grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Scylton Monroe Farquhar; sons, Kirt (Angie) Farquhar and Scott (Paula) Farquhar; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Simon and Eve Farquhar, Taylor Tullos, Joe Tullos, Kaitlyn (Carrington) Chamberlain; and great-grandchildren, Catherine Farquhar and Roman Chamberlain. She is also survived by her sisters, Connie (Owens) Conrad, Kandy (Kenneth) Richard, Peggy “Tootie” (Joe) Young; brother, Jimmy (Brenda) Horner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramie “Buddy” Horner and Vera Vivian Horner; her brother, Ray Horner; and sister Nancy Evans.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Reverend Scott Hollis officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Dry Creek.
