John Clayton Ardoin

John Clayton Ardoin, born Sept. 13, 1960, son of John Hulin and Charline Marie (Augustine) Ardoin, passed away after a lengthy illness Monday, June 13, 2022, at age 61.
Clayton, a graduate of Lacassine High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College, was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed collecting knives, and guns. He was an avid reader and researcher. Clayton loved drag racing, motor cross and motorcycles. Clayton was an accomplished guitar player and loved southern rock-n-roll.
Clayton was a people person, never met a stranger, and always made friends wherever he went. His wonderful personality will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Hulin Ardoin.
Clayton is survived by his mother, Charline Ardoin; daughter, Jaqueline Marie Ardoin; siblings, Elliot Ardoin, Myra Ardoin, and Monica Walker (Eric); mother of his daughter, Michelle Ardoin; nieces and nephews, Shay Walker Watkins, Kade Walker, Alec Ardoin, Christopher Villa, Alexius Villa, and Nevaeh Villa.
A Mass of Christian burial is in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10 a.m. The Rev. Jom Joseph, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. and will resume Saturday in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
