Westlake Police have arrested two people in a string of vehicle burglaries over the last few weeks.

Chief Chris Wilrye said on Saturday officers were patrolling area neighborhoods and came across a suspicious person wearing an orange hoodie. The person — Jhacoreyan D. Lewis, 21, 936 Shafer St., Apartment D1 — was detained and transported to the Westlake Police Department.

Officers also went to Lewis’ apartment and spoke with 20-year-old Allison F. Vincent. While there, officers found 161 grams of marijuana in a shoe box and a rifle.
