Frank R. Yeatman III

Frank R. Yeatman III of Bridgewater, Mass., age 78, died unexpectedly on March 8, 2022. Born to Frank R. Yeatman Jr. and Joyce Yeatman (Houston) in DeRidder, La., he graduated from LaGrange High School, Lake Charles, and from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He earned his Doctorate in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. His career included research and teaching at a number of educational institutions. He was a Professor of Psychology and Chairman of the Psychology Department at Avila College in Kansas City, where he taught for 13 years. After moving to Bridgewater in 2001, he taught at Stonehill College and Bridgewater State University. He was an accomplished woodworker in his retirement.
Frank and his wife, Eileen Hiney, met at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, in Kansas City, Mo., where they were married in 1994. Frank was a loving, devoted husband, a fine brother and a kind and gentle man. He made the world a better place. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, siblings Joan Yeatman (La Crosse, Wis.), Eleanor Yeatman and husband Richard Kleeberg, (Winters, Calif.), Bruce Yeatman and wife, Doris Merrick (Florham Park, N.J.), stepson, Michael Gates (Tucson, Ariz.), nephew, James Raymond Yeatman, (Myrtle Beach, S.C.).
