John “Blackheart” David Webb

John David Webb, affectionately known as “BLACKHEART”,of Moss Bluff passed away at 7:25 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022 in his residence at the age of 53.
John was born on August 2, 1968 in Alexandria and was raised in Iowa where he was a graduate of Iowa High School. He spent some time living in Westlake and Texas before moving to Moss Bluff 15 years ago. Following graduation, he served in the US Marine Corps. Upon being honorably discharged, he began his 30 year career in the chemical and paper industry. This job allowed him to travel and work throughout the country. John was a past member of the Patriot Guard and was currently the President of the LEATHERNECKS MC, Louisiana chapter “No Man’s Land.”
He was a true patriot of America and was involved in volunteering for numerous events in the community including Avenue of Flags and toy drives. John had utmost respect for his fellow soldiers, especially fallen soldiers. In addition, he was a loving and dedicated husband and father.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Tiffany Lantz of Moss Bluff; children, Courtney Webb of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mackenzie Webb (Brandon LeJeune) of Lake Charles, and Abbiegail, Greyson, and Kailyn Webb all of Moss Bluff; his mother, Betty Jo Webb of Westlake; brothers, Scott Webb (Sarah) of Westlake, Deland Webb (Wendy) of Moss Bluff, and Charles and Jeff Webb of Westlake; two grandchildren, Oliver and Sophie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Lavell Webb Sr. and a brother, Dallas Lavell Webb Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Burial will follow in the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Cemetery in Jennings, La. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue on Friday from 9 a.m. until the start of the service.
