A Lake Charles man has been arrested in the rape and sexual battery of a girl under 15.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said deputies received a complaint about Bobby R. Treaster, 46, 3517 Greinwich Blvd., on Feb. 17.

She said the victim told detectives the incidents took place between January 2021 and October 2021.

After detectives spoke with Treaster on Feb. 18, he was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. He was charged with seven counts of sexual battery and third-degree rape.  Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $510,000.
