Blake Hayden Reed, born in Lake Charles, on Jan. 8, 1997, passed away in Houston, Texas, on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at the age of 25.

Blake attended school in Iowa, La., and Deer Park, Texas. He was a collector, enjoyed playing video games, and most of all, being with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Ann Fontenot Reed; aunt, Carrie Morgan Reed.

Blake is survived by his mother, Christina Reed Fontenot; siblings, Sydney Nicole Doucet; Hayden Brooks Fontenot; grandfather, Ed Reed; aunts and uncles, Glenn and Rhonda Reed; Darrell Wayne Reed; cousins, Dustin; Tyler; Alexis; Jodi; Kadie; Jackie; Jacob; Cameron; Tommy, and Sean.

Funeral service is Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Don Willis officiating in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation is in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and will resume Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
