Allen men linked to multiple gunfire exchanges

Two Allen Parish men are facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a firearm, for allegedly exchanging gunfire in two separate incidents.
Jordan Harmon, 20, of Kinder was arrested on three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, criminal damage to property and illegal use of weapons. He was released on a $302,500 bond.
James Robinson III, 19, of Oberlin was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, criminal damage to property and illegal use of weapons. He is being held on a $252,500 bond.
Sheriff Doug Hebert III said the charges stem from two separate incidents that occurred Feb. 13 in the Kinder and Oberlin area.
The first shooting occurred on Botley Cemetery Road in Kinder.
As deputies were responding to the call, the Sheriff’s Office received additional 911 calls about a separate, active shooting incident on Martin Luther King Drive in Oberlin, Hebert said.
According to witnesses, the two suspects had exchanged fire amongst one another at both locations.
Further information revealed a female at the Kinder incident was in fear of her life prior to the exchange of gunfire.
The investigation is ongoing.
