Patricia “Patsy” Ann LeBlanc

Patricia Ann “Patsy” LeBlanc, age 63, of Sulphur, formerly of Hackberry, La., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at a local hospital with her loving family by her side. Patsy was born on Jan. 19, 1959, in Lake Charles, La.
Patsy worked in Daycare before moving into Nutrition Services at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital for over 17 years. Patsy enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Tory going to horse races, playing lottery, going to Casino, collected tea pots and rocks, gardening, Bingo, and going to dances where she could listen to live music. Patsy was known for her loving ability to take care of everyone. Patsy loved being with her family, but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her father, Norman East; her brother, Daniel East; and her beloved grandmother, Lucy Touchet.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Wilda East; children, Luke Darbonne, Catherine Faith Darbonne (Jeremy Thomas), and Glenn A. LeBlanc (Bashby); grandchildren, Matthew Darbonne, Brianna Dawson, Kristian Kibodeaux, Avery LeBlanc and Oliver LeBlanc; great-grandson, Brantley Wade; siblings, Mary Poage (Thaddeus “Snake” Hebert), Norman J East (Debbie), Jack East, Annette East (Stacy “Cuz” Martin), Jackie East, Brenda East (Robert); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and her work family at WCCH.
Visitation will begin at noon until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel and will resume from 8 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Hackberry with the Rev. Arvind Minz, HGN will officiate services. Burial will follow in Hackberry Community Cemetery.
