On Monday, workers put the finishing touches on a roadway connecting the new Lake Charles Hobby Lobby store to W. Prien Lake Road. The new store, adjacent to Target and located behind the La-Z-Boy furniture store at 1660 W. Prien Lake Road, is still under construction. It was announced last year that the store would open on Thanksgiving Day 2021, but construction was not complete at that time. The company has not yet re-announced when the Lake Charles store will open.
