2/15: Calcasieu Parish Sheriff announces arrest list

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Bernice Woodrow Adams, 53, 601 Harrison Road, DeQuincy — prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; two counts drug possession; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies. Bond: $23,000.

Samuel Glenn Barker, 41, 1215 12th St. — domestic abuse battery, second offense.

Dustin Joseph Johnathon Alexander, 31, 115 W. LaGrange St. — violations of protective orders.

Melchezideck Jerome Simon Jr., 19, 2904 S. General Wainwright Drive — aggravated flight from an officer; drug possession; obstruction of justice; stop lamps and turn signals required on new motor vehicles. Bond: $51,600.

Deneres Jerome Handy, 29, Carencro — failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator, first offense.

Dexter Jemone Allen, 35, 920 Gulf St. — drug possession; two counts possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; possession or dealing in unregistered or illegally transferred weapons; two counts illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS. Bond: $90,000.

Daniel Paul Doucet, 29, 740 18th St. — drug possession. Bond: $100,000.

Darrell Wayne Smith, 51, Coushatta — sexual battery.

Amber Brooke Fontenot, 37, 130 Self St. No. 9, Sulphur — possession of synthetic marijuana, first offense; drug possession.

Marietta Elizabeth Skowronski, 26, 615 N. Clairborne St. No. 11, Sulphur — theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; home invasion; aggravated battery; simple battery.

Robert Allen Elliott, 39, 33014 La. 332, Gueydan — theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000; theft less than $1,000; illegal carrying of weapons, first offense; simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000.

Kevin Joseph Chambers, 42, 1128 N. Prater St. — battery of a dating partner, first offense; simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000; resisting an officer.
