The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Jaycen Wayne Whisler, 52, League City, Texas — residential contractor fraud $5,000 or more but less than $25,000; residential contractor fraud $25,000 or more. Bond: $110,000.

Samantha Antoinette Bias, 25, Houston — simple arson. Bond: $10,000.

Gene Russell Hill Jr., 39, 4200 Luke Powers Road K6 — domestic abuse battery. Bond; $6,000.

Geremiah Fitzgerald Booker, 21, 4032 Thornton St. — battery of a dating partner, first offense.

Heather Annette Rogers, 33, 161 Beauregard Ave., Sulphur — bank fraud; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000.

Brandon Joseph Pickens, 31, 6735 U.S. 90 East No. 88 — direct contempt of court; domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of persons under 17.

Kevin Dwayne Edwards, 45, Pearland, Texas — two counts operating while intoxicated, third offense; driving on roadway laned for traffic; hit-and-run driving.

Simone Monea Carrier, 22, 719 18th St. — drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; headlamps on motor vehicles; driver must be licensed.  Bond: $8,200.

Christopher Joseph Flores, 29, Houston — operating while intoxicated, third offense; hit-and-run driving; river must be licensed; certain activities regarding contraband in penal institutions prohibited; two counts drug possession; illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments-committing a crime of violence or CDS violation; illegal carrying of weapons, first offense; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; possession of firearm on premises of alcoholic beverage outlet.

David P. Bordelon, 53, Eunice — seven counts failure to possess required license for home improvements, residential construction. Bond: $35,000.

Damonte Joseph Batiste, 22, 1531 Act St., Lake Charles — attempted second-degree murder; home invasion; armed robbery.

Justin Abel Stewart, 19, 3644 Anthony Ferry Road, Sulphur — unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bond: $17,500.

Brittany Erin Wheat,  35, 1030 Mildred St., Sulphur — two counts indecent behavior with juveniles. Bond: $500,000.

Jonathan Christian Tyler Roberts, 30, 808 4th Ave., Kinder — domestic abuse battery, strangulation; simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000; home invasion; stalking, second offense; simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling; theft less than $1,000; three counts direct contempt of court.

Randy Ray Moore Jr., 47, 2317 Kathy Drive, Sulphur — theft from $25,000 or more; simple burglary. Bond: $10,000.

Sofia Nima-Tziis Garcia, 28, 160 Beauregard Ave., Sulphur — four counts drug possession; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; driving on roadway laned for traffic.
