Tina Renee Broussard Fuselier, age 63, of Lake Charles, La., passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022. Tina was born Sept. 27, 1958, to Gordon and Nola Bourgeois Broussard.

 Tina was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and a graduate of St. Louis Catholic High School.  Tina worked at McNeese State University as an Information Technology Specialist and retired after 29 years of employment. She volunteered for many years as a Youth Minister and a Youth Choir leader at St. Henry Catholic Church.  While growing up Tina developed a love for music that continued throughout her life. She was a self-taught vocalist and guitarist. Singing with her family and friends was one of the many joys in her life.  Her earnest passion for music was evident by her treasured collections of memorabilia and albums. Tina enjoyed traveling, theater, and movies with friends or family. She always had an open door for family. Her loving and generous spirit was felt by all who were close to her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Daniel Fuselier and wife Megan; brothers, Carl Broussard and wife Julie, Russell Broussard and Richard Broussard and wife Deirdre; sisters, Deanna Johnson and husband Ron, and Lynette Sonnier and husband Brian; sister-in-law, Barbara Broussard;  five grandchildren, Tristan, Keaton, Allacen, London, and Owen; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Nola Bourgeois Broussard; and a brother, Wayne Broussard.

Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, beginning at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m. and will resume Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at 10 a.m. until the procession leaves for the church at 12:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church on Saturday at 1 p.m. Fr. Matthew Cormier will officiate at the service.
