Daniel Lewis Keeling, age 67, resident of Vinton, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Daniel was born on Aug. 8, 1954 in Arkadelphia, Ark. 

Daniel proudly served in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne. After serving Daniel owned and operated Keeling Siding Co. 

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Keeling; his mother, Rose Keeling Donahue; and his brothers, Aaron, Carl, and Wayne Keeling. 

Daniel is survived by his wife, Janet Keeling; daughter, Emily Dalfrey and husband, Joey; step-son, Nicholas Laughlin and fiance, Bridgett Foreman; step-daughter, Justine Parr and husband, Lavon; grandchildren, Hudson Dalfrey, Heaven Laughlin, Tayte Laughlin, Blane Parr, and Mallory Parr; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 at the American Legion, 5461 Joe Courville Road, Vinton, LA 70668, with Danny Landry officiating.
