BREAKING: Moss Bluff Middle student arrested

A Moss Bluff Middle School student was arrested Wednesday for allegedly making a threat against the school.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said their department was notified at about 11 a.m. Wednesday of a possible threat from a 13-year-old student at the school.

She said school personnel also located contraband on the student.

He was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing; possession of CDS II; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Det. Kardel Guidry is the lead investigator on the case.
